The revolutionary new concept of Bubble Protection was recently introduced by the Las Vegas based company in which players get paid out if they are within the Bubble Protection zone that is considered to be exactly 10% of total players.

Bubble Protection will now offer online poker players the opportunity to purchase a policy before start of any tournament that will pay them back their entire entry fee and buy-in automatically if they end up busting on the Bubble. In Bubble Protection program, players get paid out if they are on a “Bubble” that’s considered to be exactly 10% of the size of the field. For instance, if there’s a 1,000 player tournament, the Bubble will be considered to go 100 players deep. If the top 150 make the money, players 151-250 will see their Bubble Protection claims paid automatically. All the players have to do in order to sign up for this service is to go onto the site and register their online names, and the tournament. Following which the players should purchase Bubble Insurance on it. After the tournament is over, players will get back their buy-in amount.

Bubble Protection will be using the revolutionary poker tracking technology created by Poker Pro labs. Currently Bubble Protection will remain unavailable to the US players. Poker networks that will be using Bubble Protection concept are PokerStars, Party Poker and iPoker Network. Also Bubble Protection offerings will not cover rebuys tournament or multiple entry events.

Chris Moorman to promote Bubble Protection in Online Poker

Bubble Protection has appointment Chris Moorman as the company new spokesman for promoting the concept. While addressing the press the all-time money leader in online poker tournaments Chris Moorman said: “I am excited about hosting, playing and hopefully winning this inaugural event on Party Poker. The event entry fee will be covered by Bubble Protection and of course your account will be funded the entry fee if you fall in the ‘new’ big Bubble.”

Advantage and Disadvantage of Bubble Protection in Online Poker

Bubble Protection is indeed a brilliant concept that will give freedom to player to play poker without thinking about losing the money. It will help in conserving the bankroll of the players- especially those who play quite frequently. Also player can put in their best game without concern for making money. If a player has made it into the Bubble Protection zone, then they at the minimum are guaranteed to get their buy in back.

But according to experts there are some disadvantages of Bubble Protection as well. The player becomes too loose as soon as he reaches the Bubble Protection zone. The player makes moves not relevant to the game and end up losing all the chips early. In other words, he will not play in his best form.
